Japanese Table Manner

I just want to share my experience when I attended Japanese Table Manner last Wednesday (07/09). I was planning to write, but I was so busy ^^;

At 6 PM, I arrived at Fujiya Restaurant and was confused due I never went there, only heard from my friend about the place. Then,I called my another friend who already arrived and she met me in the parking lot. I thought I was late but when I arrived, there were only 2 sensei and 4 students. I talked with my friend and I didn't realize that behind me there were 2 sensei who sat and talked too. But thanks to that,now my sensei called me with my last name again XD

Okay, let's start because I grumbled too many^.^;

After all people were gathering, I met many new students that didn't have same class with me and talked with them. The food finally was served to us. Tomita-sensei told us that between eating, he would give a game to get some gift from Japan *O*
I was so nervous and anxious that would be able to eat all food since I was using dental braces.

1. Fruit Salad+Ocha+Chawan Mushi

Look at this picture (Thanks to my new friend who took a photo. I wanted to take a photo but too shy due no one would did it^^;)
After that,Tomita-sensei told us that if we heard "ring" from his alarm clock (he really brought it,so funny xD), we had to stop eating because the game would be started lol
Okay, then we ate Salad 1st and didn't have chance to finish our eating, we heard  "ring" then stopped eating (glad the Salad didn't have too big shape so I could chew easily but still slow).

A)The Quiz was about "Hashi/chopsticks"
There were 4 option from Tomita-sensei's presentation. And asking us choose which one was right.
1. Eating rice with chopsticks
2. Eating rice with spoon after gaving up with chopsticks
3. Using chopsticks to exchange foods to another sensei
4. Grabbing another foods and putting it to our bowl with rice then eating them with chopsticks

2)SUSHI

After the quiz, we spent the time to eat that 3 main foods. Suddenly another foods came again, Sushi lol.Then, the alarm clock was ringing. Quiz again XD
B)The Quiz was about "Sushi". Which one was right?
1. Taking Sushi with chopsticks
2. Taking Sushi but 1st grabbing the Tuna then 2nd grabbing the rice
3. Taking Sushi without chopsticks but with hands
4. Taking Sushi with spoons after giving up with chopsticks
(If you want to eat the sushi, you can eat all them in one chew or bite a little)

Nah, all foods, I almost finished them but the Quiz come again ^^;
C)The Quiz was about "Gohan/Rice"
There were 4 option from Tomita-sensei's presentation. And asking us choose which one was wrong.
1. Putting soup in the bowl with rice
2. Putting raw eggs in the bowl with rice
3. Putting milk in the bowl with rice
4. Putting the meat in the bowl with rice

3) Soba+Soup+Tempura+Ingredients for the soup.

Quiz was stopped for a while and the foods came again. Soba and another foods come and we looked suprised and confused too. We ate 5 differents Tempura. There were 2 big shrimps, Kabocha (pumpkin),Nasu (Eggplant) and the last was weird, it was Paprika. We tried some of them and I couldn't bite this,you know that I was using dental braces,so it hurt T^T but thanks to the soup, so enter the Tempura to the soup so it become mild. The quiz was started again.
D)The Quiz was about "Soba". Which one was wrong?
1. Entering Tempura to the Soup
2. Putting the soup into the Soba
3. Putting Soba into the bowl with the soup
4. Taking Soba with fork

Nah, I almost couldn't finish them for sure. I almost give up but my friends kept supporting me (exactly pushing me XD;) and I could manage it.But secretly hid the 2 big shrimps in my bag and asked my friend Tissue XD (Thanks to Shermy-san).
E)The Quiz was about "Price".Which one from this food that never change the price until now?
1. Milk
2. Banana
3. Eggs
4. Rice

4)Ice cream+Water+Fruits

(Note: I don't know why but I tried hard to rotate there,but when I saw in my album, it wasn't show like this ;A; sorry~~~I can't do anything)
Then, for the last dessert. They served us with Ice cream and anothers. The ice cream was having different flavour for each people^^; and my friend was jealous I got chocolate (I manage to take a photo for the last dessert XD) and I offered her to try mine if she wanted but refused with the reason didn't want to get fat^^;;

Too bad, I lose that game, only got 8 candies D;

And we closed it by taking a photo with another sensei, members and students. I was kinda dissapointed due I couldn't smile like usual (dental braces's fault -pouts-) and some student made fun of us by making her hand "V" to us ==; and she was behind me so my head (for sure) had that "V" (you can imagine it,right?). We bow and said good bye each other.

In the middle our walking, I and my friend were suprised before going out from the door, behind us there was Tomita-sensei called us and bow to us and we bow too, smiled for sure too. Then, he left. We really was spechless, he really chased us up O_O;
