[NEWS] Ouran High School Host Club Gets Live-Action Show

The July issue of Hakusensha's LaLa magazine is announcing next Tuesday that a live-action television series adaptation of Bisco Hatori's Ouran High School Host Club romantic comedy manga has been green-lit for this July. The series on the TBSnetwork will feature Yūsuke Yamamoto (Kamen Rider Kabuto, Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e) as the Host Club president Tamaki Suō and Haruna Kawaguchi (Yankee-kun to Megane-chan,Moshidora) as the heroine Haruhi Fujioka.

In the story, high school freshman Haruhi pretends to be a boy so that she can take part in the wealthy school's Host Club, to which she owes a large debt. The manga launched in LaLa in August of 2003, and Viz Media launched its North American release in July of 2005. The manga has been among the top-ranked titles both in Japanand on the New York Times manga best seller list. The manga ended in Japan last September, andViz is publishing the 16th of 18 compiled book volumes next month.

In April 2006, a 26-episode anime began in Japan with Maaya Sakamoto as Haruhi andMamoru Miyano as Tamaki. Funimation released the anime in North America in 2008.

[NEWS] Detective Conan Manga Gets Live-Action TV Series

This year's 26th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing on Wednesday that a live-action television series adaptation of Gosho Aoyama's Detective Conan manga has been green-lit. The series will premiere on July 7 at 11:58 p.m. on YTV, NTV, and their affiliates. The original manga follows a brilliant detective trapped in a child's body, but the live-action spinoffs have been set before the manga, when the title character was still a teenager.


There was already a live-action television special in April, as well as two previous specials with actor Shun Oguri (Hana Yori Dango, Hana-Kimi) in 2006 and 2007. However, the new project will be the first live-action series. The new series will retain the same staff and cast as the third live-action special, including Junpei Mizobata (Hana-Kimi, 81diver, Shibatora, High School Debut) in the title role and Shiori Kutsuna (Mei-chan no Shitsuji, Beck, Gota Keshi: Jidan Kōshōnin Shirai Torajirō) as the heroine Ran.


Viz Media will publish the 39th manga volume under the title Case Closed in North America in July. Funimation released DVDs for the television anime adaptation and some of the anime films.

[NEWS] "Bread, Love and Dream" Yoon Si-yoon is a vegetable shop owner

Lead character of drama "A Bachelor's Vegetable Store".

Actor Yoon Si-yoon is now a single vegetable shop owner after being the bakery king.

Yoon Si-yoon has been chosen as the lead character for new drama "A Bachelor's Vegetable Store". This drama is going to be invested in by Japan, China and Korea and will start producing with the release at the later half of this year.

"A Bachelor's Vegetable Store" is a drama based on the success story of Lee Young-seok dating back in the 90's in Seoul. This man started off with a 10 square foot store and put up branches everywhere around the country and even made it to home shopping with the name, "Regular Bachelors Store".

"A Bachelor's Vegetable Store" created a change in the distributing business with its trustable and delicious foods at decent prices. It has a thread of connection with the KBS drama "Bread, Love and Dream" which is about the love for bread and becoming a baker. Yoon Si-yoon has caught the opportunity to become a young adult who succeeds with sweat and passion.

[NEWS] Yoon Shi Yoon transforms into golf coach in new movie ‘100%’

Yoon Shi Yoon received several offers after his name exploded nationwide through Baker King Kim Tak Goo.

And the 24-year-old actor picked a movie titled 100% as his new project.

In 100%, he will play a former famous pro golfer named Baek Se Jin who experienced an accident and loses everything.

Baek Su Jin then goes to remote mountain village for treatment and finds children who are at risk of losing their school.

He then becomes their teacher and also teaches golf to them , and even brings them into gold competition.

Storywise, 100% is not a mainstream movie, but that’s what made Yoon Shi Yoon chose it because 100% is an  human drama that has pure and touching story.

100% already started its filming last week in Yundaedo island. The filming is scheduled for 3 months and the movie will debut summer 2011.

I changed some feature little. I removed background music. Because I put sample music that I uploaded.
I tried to change that song to not replay but it's hard ==;

I applied new comment feature and it removed many icons T_T sorry~
But It looks great with "reply" and "like" button, right? :D
Not only that you can sign with any ID to comment.

Maybe I will change the position of CBox later. It looks like peoples didn't realize @_@;
